HOT….HOT! We fished for 4 hours. Bluebird skies and very little if any wind. Punched the 10 ft. grass with plastics but no results. Tied on my secret swimbait and caught 5 in about an hour. Caught a nice 4.5, couple of 3's and a 2 and a 1.5. Got three ferocious strikes that I missed. One hit it like a freight train, bowed me up then turned and was gone. The next one tightlined me as soon as it hit the water. I set the hook and it felt like I set it into a brick wall. It stopped me cold. When I started to reel, my reel skipped a beat and the line went limp. Shortly thereafter I announced last cast. Halfway back to the boat got hit and broke off. Nice place and very nice boat. Will go back.
