Giddings - BlackJack Ranch
Description:
BlackJack Ranch sits on a gently rolling 1300 acre cattle and red deer ranch. As you enter the electric gate you will notice red deer and other exotics in various high fence pens ranging from a few acres to pens larger than 50 acres. This 10 acre lake is 20 feet deep and has rarely been fished over the years, by anyone but family. However, the owner has been harvesting the past couple of years and the fish are now at their proper weights! There is a huge pier which is great for the kids. The largest fish to date is 10lb 4 oz.
Test results with 1 person in 1.5 hours of fishing in mid February produced 13 fish between 1.5 lbs and 3.5 lbs and no dinks. There are many fish in the 4lb to 6 lb range.
We are actively harvesting all fish 14 inches and under and the lake is on a fertilization program to produce a phytoplankton bloom. There is a jon boat available on site, and bank fishing is excellent.

Requirements
Active cattle ranch, keep all gates closed that were closed and leave all gates open that were open.
It is mandatory to remove all bass 14" and under at this site. You must also report your harvest totals back to the club office or online through the reservation system.
