Canton - China Grove
Description:
China Grove is a 3 1/2-acre tank with depths up to 16 feet. The tank was built in 1990 and has been well managed. It has been stocked twice in the with Florida bass, channel cat, bluegill and fathead minnows. This tank has produced bass in the 10 lb. range and there is plenty of submerged structure for the fish to hide. There is a jon boat with oars on the property for members to use.
This property is a club favorite with its 4 cabins. Starting in 2010 your lodging includes fishing for two adults from check in (3:00 pm) to check out (10:00 AM). You may fish longer and pay normal club fees. Any additional guests will pay the normal day fishing rates.
Cabins include a living area equipped with television, DVD, and stereo/CD. The "A-Frame" has a hot tub built over the lake and sleeps 6. The Bunk House sleeps 12. Roses cabins sleeps 4. The Feed Store cabin sleeps 4. See lodging section for more information.

Just over an hour (60 miles) east of Dallas. 11 miles south of Canton

Reservations to this site must be approved through the club office. Placing a reservation through the automated system is only a request at this site, not confirmation. A member of our staff will contact you regarding your request either through personal email or by phone.
Please use barbless hooks when using jigs and soft plastics.

Lodging Description
A-Frame Cabin: $125 per night for two people, $15 each additional person.
This is a cozy air conditioned one room, one bath A-frame cabin that can sleep 4 comfortably. There are two lofts with twin beds in each and a queen size bed down low. The deck on the front of the cabin extends to the water and has a hot tub that is great for viewing stars at night.
Roses Cabin: $125 per night for two people, $15 each additional person.
Roses Cabin overlooks the 3.5 acre lake and is the closest to the pier. The cabin has one bathroom and can sleep 4 comfortably having 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed and a daybed in the living room that converts into 2 twins. Outside, enjoy the wraparound porch (with hot tub!), charcoal grill, fire pit, and picnic area.
Bunk House: $145 per night for two people, $15 each additional person.
The cabin can sleep up to 12 people! There is one bathroom, 3 separate bedrooms and two lofts. Bedroom 1 has a queen sized bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen and a twin bed. Bedroom 3 which you have to see to believe, has its own clawfoot bathtub with queen bed and is screened in with a view of the woods. Each loft contains 2 twin beds. We have had as many as 14 ten year old boys sleeping in the two lofts alone. The cabin also has a huge wrap around front porch with plenty of tables and rocking chairs.
Feed Store Cabin: $90 per night for two people. $15 each additional person.
As the name implies, the shell of the cabin is a former feed store which adds to its charm. This 500 square foot cabin has a claw foot bathtub that adds to its charm. The open room concept has a King size bed and a loft with a queen bed.
**All cabins have satellite TV, heating and air conditioning, full kitchen, linens and towels. Fishing for two people is included with your stay**
