Sulphur Bluff - Deer Trail Ranch
Description:
The 30-acre lake on Deer Trail Ranch is a great looking site with lots of bass. The lake is surrounded by trees and cattails making bank fishing impossible, but does at times provide protection from the wind. Lily pads, cattails and coon-tail provide great cover for the bass.
There is a good area to launch small two man boats. A 12' aluminum boat with swivel seats is available for members to use.
Directions:
App. 2 hours from Dallas, just northeast of Sulphur Springs.
Parking
Take the road from the gate directly to the lake.
Angler Limit
Three anglers, more allowed if in one group.
Requirements
Keep any bass under 14"! You must report the number removed to the club office after your outing.
