Description:
Hill Country Ranch is a beautiful 750 acre ranch with 22 acre lake just 15 minutes from Bandera and is simply breathtaking. The lake is 30 feet deep when at full pool and has produced several fish over 10 lbs. Bluegill are added each year to add to the forage base.
There is a concrete boat launch and large fiberglass boats could be launched. There is a smaller 2 acre lake below the big lake and is 20 feet deep in areas. Both lakes are on a bluegill feeding program.
You must see this site to appreciate its beauty. It is as beautiful as any lake in the club.
Directions:
App. 140 miles, 2 hours 30 minutes from downtown Austin. App. 75 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio.

Contact the club office for directions to this site, after placing your reservation.
Be sure to pull the boat up on the bank and turn it upside down after using it. You will also need to remove any fishing gear, string and hooks after use (cows can get them lodged in their noses).
Be sure to close all doors to the picnic area after use. (again, cows can get in there and really make a mess!)
Keep any bass under 14". You must report the # and approximate weight of all fish kept to the club office after your outing and fill out the on site survey located in the mailbox by the lake.
