Damon - Live Oak Fish Farm
Description:
Live Oak Fish Farm is a well managed 60-acre lake. It is around 30 years old but was drained in 1991 and restocked with Florida Hybrids. Through the years it has also been stocked with copper nose bluegill, tilapia, threadfin shad, gizzard shad and, golden shiners.
The lake averages about 4 feet in depth in the middle with plenty of timber. The deepest water around the perimeter is 12 feet. There is good bank fishing and also a gravel ramp to launch boats.
The biggest bass caught to date is 10 1/2 lbs but, the landowner is determined to increase that.
