Bryan - Post Oak Lake
Description:
This 33 acre lake sits only 25 miles from Kyle Field and is perfect for Aggie fans. Longhorn and Red Raider Fans are welcome, but come game day you can bet this place will be booked for the weekend by an Aggie.
The lake has a well appointed cabin that was completely remodeled in 2008 and is perfect for a small group of 2 to 4.
The 640 acre ranch also has an 8 acre lake that boasts some large bass of its own. Both lakes have been under year round management since 2007 by an outside lake management company and the average fish size has gone from 12 inches to 17 inches during this time. Catching 3 and 4 lb fish is common with average catch days of more than 40 fish. There is a small 12 foot jon boat for members to use.
During home Texas A@M football games a two night minimum is required when lodging.
Directions:
2 hours NE of Downtown Houston. 3.5 from downtown Dallas. 2 hours west of Austin. 20 miles east of College Station.
Parking
Anywhere you like around the 8 acre lake. Next to the concrete boat launch on the larger lake.
Angler Limit
4 anglers. More if in the same group.
Requirements
DO NOT harvest any fish at this site at this time.
There is no road when passing the landowner's home. Drive through the pasture and down to the lake. See site map for reference.

Lodging Description
The cabin sleeps 3; 4 if two share the queen bed. This cabin was completely updated and is about as nice as any in the club.
This one bath, one bedroom cabin has a beautiful covered porch with rocking chairs. There are two over sized chairs that pull out that make into a single bed. The kitchen has all new appliances and is appointed with everything you need. Linens and towels are provided.
The price for lodging is $125.00 a night for two people and $15.00 for each additional person.
