Cleburne - Six O Ranch
Description:
Six O Ranch Lake consists of 50-acres of water. Built in 1985, it is a dammed up valley with depths up to 45 feet. It has sufficient amount of shallow water with good vegetation and a lot of timber. It has been stocked with 100% Florida bass, coppernose bluegill and various forage fish. The largest bass caught to date is over 14 lbs. and there have been reports of two pound bluegill.
Some areas of the lake have good bank fishing, but you will want a boat to get to the entire lake. Trailers are not allowed to back into the water so, hand launch-able boats only. There is a boat on site for members to use. You'll need to bring your own trolling motor and battery.
It is mandatory to remove all fish 14" and smaller and to report your catch rates in the shed as well as with the club office.
Directions:
Just over an hour (68 miles) from Dallas. 45 minutes (43 miles) for Fort Worth. 10 miles southwest of Cleburne.
Parking
Park by the fishing pier. Do not drive around the property.
Angler Limit
Three boats.
Requirements
24 hour notice is required to fish this site. No last minute trips unless approved by a member of the PWF staff either by personal email or phone.
**Must remove all bass 14" and smaller. Must post catch and keep rates in the shed next to boat dock and also report back to the club office**
