Sulphur Bluff - Timber Lake
Description:
Timber Lake is a 22 acre lake with depths up to 28 feet. This lake was built in 2006 has lots of submerged structure including an abundance of timber. The lake is on an intense managment program and is fertilized each year. We are harvesting bass 14 inches and smaller, and adding tilapia each year. Bank fishing is accessible along the dam. The site offers a 12 ft v-hull jon boat and 14ft flat-bottom jon boat for members use. There is also a dirt ramp to launch bigger boats. We believe this lake is one of the best value's in the entire club. If you like fishing in the woods with the shot of catching a real pig, then this lake is for you.

Directions:
App. 2 hours from Dallas, just northeast of Sulphur Springs.

Park near the boat launch area and jon boats.

*** 5/15/2013: Due to current low water levels, launching a large boat will not be possible. Smaller, two man boats and hand launch-able boats should still work just fine***
