Ferris - Triple J Ranch
Description:
Triple J is a 10-acre lake built in the 60s and improved in 2003. It and has depths up to 15 ft and is loaded with bass and crappie. This site consistently produces a large per average fish of 2-3 lbs. With recent addition of brush piles and tilapia, this lake will continue to get better. Located just 15 minutes south of downtown Dallas, it is handy to fish after work.
This site can be easily bank fished with nothing in the way of your back cast. There is also a 14 foot jon boat available for our members. The boat will be located on the East side of the lake near the old swimming pool. Please be sure to return the boat to the exact location that you found it.
We have an aggressive slot limit of 14" and under. Please keep all fish 14" and smaller and report your kept fish to the club office.
Directions:
App. 15 minutes south of downtown Dallas on I-45.
Parking
Park by the lake but do not drive on over dam.
Angler Limit
One group or two individuals.
Requirements
Keep all Crappie and any bass under 14"! You must report the # of all fish kept to the club office after your outing.
After using the on site boat, be sure to put it back in the exact same place it was left for you.
Hazards
On site roads can be difficult after a heavy rain.
