San Saba - Waco Creek Ranch
Description:
Waco Creek Lake is 50 acres but fishes much larger with lots of points and structure. This lake is a fisherman's dream and is considered one of the clubs signature properties. It has depths up to 25 feet with trees, rocks and vegetation throughout. This lake has been stocked with Florida bass. The largest fish caught to date is 13.5 lbs. This lake consistently produces several double digit bass every year.
The fishing day rate includes a boat already furnished with foot controlled trolling motors and padded swivel seats. Lodging is also available (see below).

App. 220 miles, 4 hours from downtown Dallas. App. 125 miles, 2 hours 30 minutes from downtown Austin. App. 160 miles, 3 hours from downtown San Antonio. 100 miles northwest of Austin

Requirements
MANDATORY!!! Remove all bass 14" and under and all crappie at this site. Report the total number of each species kept back to the club office.
**Two Adult Minimum is required to fish this site.** Kids must fish in a boat w/ 2 adults. No Youth rates available.
Use barb-less hooks only when fishing with soft plastics.
Take all trash with you when you leave the property.
No half days available at this site. Instead, partial day fishing is available (Dawn to 10:30am or 3:00pm to Dark). A partial day is only available when you reserve a full day. To reserve a partial day, select the half day option on the reservation system. Fishing a partial day only IS NOT available at this site. A full day is required.
No outside boats allowed.
Decked Boats with foot controlled trolling motors and batteries are furnished. The boats will be in the water. Batteries will be in the pole barn labeled on the site map. Grab fresh batteries that are on the chargers. When finished fishing, re-tie the boats on the shore and return the batteries to the barn but, DO NOT put them back on the chargers.
DO NOT drive around the property. Drive only to the lake and/or the lodge. Leave all gates as you found them. Gates have previously been left open causing cattle issues.

Lodging Description
$25 per person a night
Waco Creek Lodge is set in the Colorado River bottom on a 1200-acre Hill Country ranch. The lodge is about a mile and a half from the lake and is isolated with abundant wildlife including deer, bobcats and possible mountain lions. The trees surrounding the lodge are estimated to be around 300 years old.
The lodge, which is rustic but comfortable, will sleep 8 to 9 people comfortably. It has heat and air, fully loaded kitchen, large living room, restroom and shower, fire pit, fire place and bar-b-que grill.
When lodging you must bring your own towels and bed sheets or sleeping bags. All beds are twin.
**Take all trash with you when you leave, sweep the floors and tidy up the place. At $25 per person there is no maid service.**
