Yates place is a true trophy bass fishing Lake. This 25 acre lake is for the fisherman looking for that one "big bite". There have been 2 fish over 13 lbs and more than a dozen over 10 lbs caught in the past several years. The landowner lives on site and is very active in fish management practices; stocking fat head minnows, copper nose bluegill and threadfin shad and Tilapia.
Tilapia is the forage fish that trophy bass fishing lakes use to grow really big bass. These bass are simply fat and healthy. In order to maintain the health of the fishery a strict slot limit is enforced, you MUST keep all bass 16 inches and below. If you do not want to clean the fish simply leave them in the live box hanging off of the dock and report the amount of fish removed from the lake to the club office.
The property is perfectly manicured and has a concrete drive all the way to the lake. Included in the day fishing rate is a 15ft fully decked boat with pedestal seating, foot controlled trolling motor and batteries. If there are more than 2 or 3 in your group there is an additional buster boat for members to use. You will need to bring your own trolling motor and battery for the 2nd boat. Outside boats are permitted and launching should be easy. However, be careful when launching as not to tear up the property.
There is a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom, two bath cabin for you to stay, with a gorgeous wrap around deck with seating for 12-15 people. The interior of cabin is decorated with very tasteful decor. Satellite TV, oven, stove, microwave, linens and towels are included with your stay. No Alcohol is permitted on this site. The Landowners home is 200 feet from the cabin so late night noise will not be permitted.
If you want a chance of catching a double digit fish then bring it on!

Follow the driveway to the main house and park by the garage.
Angler Limit
4-6 Anglers per week. Only 2-3 days of fishing allowed per week.
Requirements
A two person minimum is required to fish this site.
No Alcohol is permitted on this site.
No pets are allowed at this site.
It is mandatory to remove any bass under 16". You may leave the fish in live box hanging off of the dock or, take them with you. Please report the number of bass remove to the club office after your outing.
On the 15 foot decked boat, a trolling motor and battery are provided. For larger groups, a buster boat is also available. Members must bring their own trolling motor and battery for the 2nd boat.

Lodging Description
$120 per night for 2 people and $15 per night for each additional person.
The home was built in 2003 and remodeled in the summer of 2010. This 1500 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath home was designed with entertaining in mind. It has a huge central living area furnished with two recliners, 2 sofas (1 with pull out bed), satellite TV, ceiling fans and central air and heat. Each bedroom has a queen bed and separate closet. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and all dishes and utensils. There is a huge wraparound porch with tables and chairs and seating for 16 people. The outdoor cooking area is complete with charcoal grill, propane grill, and two burner stove perfect for frying those 16" and smaller bass that were caught during the day of fishing.
All linens and towels are provided for your stay.
