I fished this property from 6:15-noon and caught about 35 (nothing big and only a couple of dinks).

The property is now about 85% full and I measured depths of 34-40 ft about 15 ft from the dam.

Conditions:

Water temp: 79
air temp: 70-80
clarity: 2-3 ft
Weather:  Mostly cloudy until around 10
Winds:  steady gusts

Successful lures:

- top water (heddon prop orange/black): 8
- rattle trap (silver/green): 5
- shallow diver (chart.): 10
- med diver (white): 5
- deep diver (blue/white; green/chart): 7

Unsuccessful lures:

- jitter bug
- hard jerk bait
- spinner

All bites were aggressive and the fish fought hard.  I probably missed 4-5 on the topwater (this is the first time in several trips that topwater was effective).  The deep pattern turned-on about 10:30 and I saw several large groups on the depth finder.  Next time I will probably spend more time with deep cranking and might use a jigging spoon and a shaky head.
