Arrived at 4:30 p.m. and fished until 8.  Initially it was a no go with the topwaters off the dam.  Started catching 14-16” bass on 6” swimbaits as I worked back and forth on the dam.  Topwaters came alive around 7 p.m. and caught 4 bass between 18-19” in a 30 minute period.  Used zara spooks and frogs.  Fish seemed a little on the undernourished side.

In case John does not answer as quickly as some might like; John was fishing on Ferris Triple J Ranch.

My apologies for not rsponding sooner.  New to the club and was traveling without my log-in info.  Yes, it was Ferris Triple J Ranch.  I fished this in April and did well from shore. I also noticed the place is for sale.  hopefully it will remain in the club.
