My son, Will and I had a great morning on JerMar Saturday, June 9th.  We have enjoyed all of our PWF trips since joining this Spring, but this one was special.  We finally hit a top water bite.  Will used a iobee frog and I had a pop r.  New tech. vs. old school.  The fish were very aggressive.  You can’t beat top water action! 

After the top water bite, we switched to crawfish and sexy shad crank baits and bream and red shad color lizards.  In total we caught and harvested 16.  Not a lot of fish by PWF standards and no big ones but loads of fun.  About half and half, top water versus soft plastics.

Getting to fish with my son and watching a great sunrise.  It doesn’t get much better than that.  Thanks to PWF for a great club and for the memories you are making possible for my family and for all of your members.
