Myself and another PWF member fished Acker Lake on Friday morning.  Weather was the predicatble hot conditions with no cloud cover and light SE winds.

The lake appears to be 2 to 3 ft low with clear visiblity.

The first fish caught weighed in at 6 lbs and was located near the timber.  The rest of the morning was slow with a few nice 3 lb’ers and smaller fish mixed in.  Six culls were removed from the total 16 fish caught.

Swim jigs and chatterbaits were the most productive lures fished.

Overall a slower morning of fishing for us than in the recent past, but a nice hot summer day on the water nonetheless.
