we did the morning fish on 7/3. put in the boat, was a work out but worth it. caught about 40 bass, 1 just under 5lbs using black lazards, chatter bait w lake fork trailer white or light green, used a few cranks but hard to get them out from all that cover! at 10 am i knocked my pole over and went in head first trying to stop it, was $300 dollar rod and reel! I saved the Rod & Reel,I survived but my phone did not! blue gill came out like piranna, we ran cranks down the middle and slammed the Crappie!  some seriouse slabs in this lake!  caught about 25 of them, they wanted one thing, crawfish colored medium dive crank, my buddy had (one) on him so guess who caught the most crappie!!  It was a good day, a little wet but good!

I fished this property a few weeks ago, and wouldn’t have thought to use a crawfish colored crank bait. Thanks for the good info. Are you allowed to keep any crappie on this property?
