My wife & I along with another couple stayed at Fannin Farms Sat pm - Sun am.  Despite the heat, we had a great time!  Met the landowner’s son.  He said the lake is down about 5 feet.  Regardless, it is full of big bass!  Clarity is about 3 feet & no grass. Saturday evening the worm was the ticket!  My wife caught a 3# on a black worm.  Most of the fish we caught were in the deeper water.  We caught about a dozen ranging from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2#.  Sunday a.m. good topwater action by the lilly pads with a hula popper.  Caught about a dozen the same weight range as Saturday.  There were a dozen or more we didn’t get to the boat.  My wife lost one huge bass!  Can’t wait to go back in the Fall after some rain!
