I fished SW Lake in Weston on a windy but beautiful fall day. Because of a 8-10 mph steady east wind I fished the north and west banks for the first couple of hours, hooking into one good fish in the brush piles just east of the drain. As the sun rose higher, the wind abated and moved to a SSE direction. I launched at about 11 or so and fished the flats, finding a dink on the west bank and a 3 pounder on the east bank under the overhanging trees. I also found a 1.5 pound crappie on the brushpile there.

I found no pattern over the day. The water is turbid with a visibiliy of about 24 inches by disc.

No strikes on rattletrap, square lipped crank, spinnerbait, swim bait, Carolina rig. I trolled the deep areas with a large swimbait for 30 minutes without a strike.
