Fingerling
Started at 7:30 with a battery that lied about its charge and then died after 1st run up the lake. Limped back to shore and tried the “available” bank fishing. Available yes, desirable—not so much. Left @ 10:00 with one fish caught and released and headed to buy a new battery.

John,
I was at Ferris Triple J last night adding brush piles. The lake is muddy from all the cattle activity and the coontail is too thick to make bank fishing enjoyable. We may need to add a few grass carp, again. However, the tilapia have done a good job with the filamentous algea. Sorry you did not catch more. If it makes you feel any better, I fished for the last 30 minutes of the evening and didn’t get bit either.
