Do not dispose of cleaned fish near boat launch/camping area or any structure.

This 16-acre lake is nestled in the heart of the piney woods. It is just 10 miles east of Crockett and is completely surrounded by mature pine trees. The lake has depths to 22 feet and was built in 2002 and stocked with bluegill, red ear sunfish, fathead minnows, and F1 bass. There is a large creek that runs through the lake, and much of the timber was left when the lake was built. When the lake is full the timber is not visible. This lake is perfect for the member who is looking for numbers, as test results produced 27 bass in the 1 to 2 lb range in just 1.5 hours of fishing for 2 people.

There is a pier with a screened in Gazebo just a few steps from the boat launch. A very nice, very wide, 14-foot Jon boat is available for members to use. There is a second 12-foot Jon boat for larger groups. Camping is permitted and there is a fire ring. No firewood is provided, but lots of lots of tree limbs will be nearby.
