Known for its excellent largemouth bass fishing, the lake features healthy bass populations along with a variety of productive habitat, including shallow vegetation, points, coves, creek channels, and open water that keep fish active throughout the year.

General Directions

From the Dallas area, take US-175 East toward Kaufman and continue southeast past Kaufman toward Athens. The drive from Dallas is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on your starting point and traffic.
