Lake Leinweber is 22 acres and like many of the lakes in south Texas rises and falls with large rain events. The lake has a good forage base of bluegill and redear sunfish and the bass population is strong. This lake produces as many bass over 5 lbs as any of our south Texas lakes. In 2019 an 11.3 lber was caught and won the clubs big bass contest for that year. A 14 foot jon boat is available for members to use. Launching your own boat will not be easy so aluminum boats on trailers are not recommended. Kayaks, 2 man plastic boats can easily be launched.

Lake Encino sits below Lake Leinweber. Please note that your reservation does NOT allow you to fish both lakes. If the other lake does not have a fisherman, it is NOT an excuse to fish the other lake. Fishing any lake other than the one on your reservation will result in automatic termination of your membership.

MANDATORY!!! Remove all bass 14" and under at this site. Report the total number of each species removed, back to the club office through the online reservation system after your outing.

Take all trash with you. Clean boat of all trash including your used soft plastics.
