This 15 acre lake is only 7 miles N.W. of McKinney. Perfect for the fisherman who wants to knock off work a bit early and catch a few hours of good fishing. The lake was built in 1969 and has been stocked with both Florida and Native bass with the lake record at 12 lbs. The poles, both PVC and metal are marked brush piles. The lake has depths of 14 feet and has a large flat area of 3' water on the west and south sides of the lake. The East and North side of the lake are the deeper areas with the deepest water in the NW corner by the dam.

Bank fishing is good for approx 60% of the lake.

There are two boats on site. The decked boat with trolling motor is NOT the club boat. There is a jon boat without a trolling motor for members to use.

Requirements

If property is wet, DO NOT drive down to the lake. Park at the top of the hill and walk down to the on site boat.

***DO NOT remove any bass at this site. You may still keep any crappie caught and report the total number removed, back to the club office through the online reservation system after your outing.***
