Bluesky Boatworks

This looks perfect for club waters. The only downside I can see is you can’t fish with a partner. And it’s a little pricey with the electric drive and power poles:

Marty,

Thanks for sharing this info...I have three different kayaks and was completely unaware of this hybrid vessel that is about to launch. It looks like a hell of a platform to fish from! Gonna have to check it out.

This is a very interesting example of the rapid evolution of the fishing kayak.  I fish from an Old Town Predator MK which is wide, stable, comfortable, and offers the option to use it with the 45# thrust electric motor console or as a traditional paddle kayak.  I use it both ways depending on the body of water to be fished.  Kayak, motor unit, trailer, and accessories add up to about $3800.  ( The $800 trailer is optional.  The kayak will fit in the back of a truck but I wouldn't want to lift it on top of a car.) The BlueSky 360 looks even more suitable to our style of fishing.  I can't wait to see one at a dealer or, better yet, on the water.
