This lake is perfect for the angler  who wants to catch a bunch of solid fish, not just dinks. The lake has a large channel that runs from the mouth of the creek and runs on the western side of the lake. Bluegill and Red Ear Sunfish have been stocked as forage for the bass. We believe there are no crappie, but the lake does have catfish.

Red Ear Sunfish, Coppernose Bluegill are the primary food source. Lake record bass in 10.5 lbs . Accessing Properties During Wet Spring

Date Posted: 9/27/2018
Texas typically receive an average of 3-5 inches of rain each month during the transition of summer - fall - winter. We have had a very wet year, and some of our fishing properties will be less accessible by vehicle.    Check the weather conditions before making a reservation and check the weather again prior to your reservation taking place. When using private property road & pathways please be aware of your surroundings, get out of your vehicle to test ground if you need to. Actively avoid leaving wheel ruts on roadways as this degrades the path for other members, and leaves many owners unhappy.
