All the lakes mentioned in the replies are good choices - if it were me I'd pick TCU or Trinity Lakes to just fish from the bank.

The following locations (Hickory Creek & Post Oak) also offer ample bank fishing if you venture south down 45 towards Houston.

Hello to my DFW members! Can anyone tell me which DFW area properties offer the best bank fishing experience? Sometimes I like to leave the kayaks at home and just walk the bank. Thanks in advance.
