the Lavender Mermaid is a beautiful place on 271 just south of Pittsburg headed to Gilmer ... http://lavendermermaid.com/ .... or if you want closer to the club lake , the Gilmer Inn is your best bet ... http://www.gilmerinntx.com/

Thanks for the Info phillip. I was going to ask you if you fished twin lakes when I ran into you at cody ranch and did you have any success there? Also the same thing with peach creek or crabgrass, did you get on those lakes, and if so what were the results?

I have a trip in the next several days, to hat and star. I was looking for recommendations for hotels in the area. Have you ever stayed in a hotel, in Gilmer? or any of the other surrounding areas?
