I have the Sun Dolphin Pro and previously had a bow mounted, foot controlled trolling motor.  As you all know, most times we are fishing in moderate to heavy wind and trying to fish while controlling the boat with your foot can be a challenge.  Last year I bought a Kingpin anchor and in heavy winds would use that so I could effectively work an area and not be worried about keeping the boat in position.

So, last week I invested in a new Minn Kota trolling motor because of what I had been told, and read, about the Spot Lock feature.  Wow is all I can say.  Worth every penny.  I get the boat in the position I want to work an area, hit the Spot Lock button and I was able to go to the back deck of my boat and fish while the motor automatically holds the boat there.  So much easier to fish.  Highly recommend!
