I fished from 8:00am-2:30pm and caught 40 bass.  Fishing is still amazingly good from the bank between the boat dock and the pier.  I caught fish in most parts of the lake except the deep middle and along the dam.  Almost all fish were caught on a pumpkin 5-inch Yum Dinger fished weighted on the bottom.  I got several blowups and four fish among the water lillies.

The habitat is great at the lake and this day it wasn’t too windy. I was surprised not to hook anything over 2.5 pounds but I had maybe 10 fish at 2 pounds.  I guess I’ll need to return to find that lunker!
