Toad
My wife and spent two nights at Parker Branch and thoroughly enjoyed the place. I met Paul, the owner, Saturday evening as he was feeding the catfish and blue gill - very nice person.
Now for the report. A big storm hit early Friday and turned the water the color of coffee with a lot of cream and that really stopped he big bite. I was able to catch over 25 dinks and one 2 lb on the main lake. All were shallow and only hit white, shallow crank and jerk baits. I did fish the smaller pond and caught three nice ones ( two 2 lbs and one 3 lb all caught one the same white shallow baits).
Friday evening it was overcast and very windy with air temp about 65. Water temp was constant around 67. Saturday was clear and about 55 - 70 degrees.
The boat, motor, and battery are in good condition and I left the battery on the dock fuly charged.
