 Fished Triple J with coworker memorial day from 630 am to 3 pm. Title of report tells story….lets say crappie made us kinda forget about the bass fishing….coworker caught 4 slab crappie in 1^st 10 mins on crankbait….i put buzzbait down lets just say….every crappie was 12 in or bigger….one particular spot we easily caught 75 of them on….we had 56 crappie before 10 am and 6 harvest bass...biggest bass about 3 lbs….would have caught more possibly if not for trolling motor issue….coworker did hook into big fish that stripped drag that we never saw and broke him off then lure surfaced few minutes later….big bass were thinking maybe however i did catch a 9lb carp out there last year so who knows….anyway lots of bags of crappie fillets for sure
