Caught 20+ bass in 2 hours and 100% were caught on Whopper Plopper. The bass would touch nothing else that morning. They did hit the frog a few times but I can’t hook them up on a frog. Just haven’t figured it out. Was a fantastic morning. Malouf is a challenge because of the grass. It’s best to have an oar with you if you use the jon boat to get through it as your trolling motor will not. The grass is VERY THICK anywhere from 15-20 yards from the shoreline. The only bank fishing you would be able to do here is a frog. Grass is too thick to fish anything else. Wind drove me off the lake at 9am after starting at 6:30am. Great day!
