Got to the lake late at 7:30 so I missed the early bite.  It was already sunny and the only shade was along the dam so that’s where I headed. Fished along the dam and out into the deeper water with a wacky worm and caught 2 or 3. Moved to the south side of the lake and caught another under a tree along the bank.  Most of the rest of the lake has quite a lot of vegetation so I changed to the swim bait with  the under spin which came easily through the vegetation.  The swim bait was the hero of the day and I caught all the other fish on that.  The largest was 3.5 lbs and only one under 14”.  By about 11:00 it got pretty slow and I was off the lake by noon.  Not bad for a sunny July morning on nice lake.
