Total Fish/Sizes : 12/ 11 under 14 inches, one Bass over.
Lures Used : top water frogs, wackie worms, & crappie jigs

We had a good day by going early. Overall caught about 9 bass. 1 under 14 inches. Then my Son caught 3 Crappie using plastic/jigs where they were schooling near a brush pile. These were under 14 inches too.

Had some trouble using the gate code. Overall, this lake is good size for small boats or kayak fishing. Morning fishing is the best for both active feeding of the Bass and the cooler part of the day.

We also like the short travel distance from our homes in College Station.
