The lake is full and all the surrounding area is green. The water visibility is 30” with a light tea color.Vegetation is not growing out and covering the surface nor even the shore line.

Caught a 6lb bass on a 5” tx rig wtless wat/green yum dinger . a 2 lb bass on a 4” tx rig  wtless wat/red yum dinger and 3 lb bass on a 5” wat/green paddle tail zoom worm with a 5/16 oz weight. And that was it. Three bass and missed two others.

At 9:30 I paddled back to the car and traded my baitcaster for a fly rod and went after the bream that had shown interest in my plastic worms.I was on the bream about 10:30 and must have lucked upon an active bed. Caught 24  bream between ½ lb to a full lb. plus and additional dozen smaller ones.All this without moving the kayak over seven feet.

So for me a really great day.
