A friend, Mike Schensted and I fished the beautiful place the Yates’ call home.  What a treat to say the least.  Dewayne and Kay are too kind for words but very friendly and hospitable would be a start.  The accomodations are first class and the lake is gorgeous.  We were there for the “Monster” moon so Sunday the fish made us work for the bites.  The fish were chasing shad so we were using a spittin’ image shad bait and just walking the dog with them when we saw the bait fish breaking the surface.  We culled 20 under 16 and caught 3 over 4 and Mike caught the big one at 5.5!  We had some excitement Monday night when a storm blew in with 40 mph winds and rain which knocked down trees around the area and subsequent power too.  We had a blast and hope to go back soon.  Thanks again to Dewayne and Kay!
