I am just an adequate bass fisherman. I’m always trying to get better and figure out the puzzle. I did this time. I fished from 7am to 11am. I fished around the islands first, but only caught one on the perimeter with a CutR worm. I also used jigs, whopper plopper, chatter bait and spinners with only limited success. Finally, swiotched to a shallow running crank bait and it was on. I caught 20 from 1-3 pounds. The little chartruse bait worked great until I had to leave. I culled 10 fish.
