It was a painful 3hrs. Sunday morning. Started right at daybreak with a rattletrap ripping the channels between the matted coontail. The first 30 minutes I picked up 5 fish with 2 of those going 17 and 19 inches.

The next 1/2 hour I proceeded to throw my back while losing a large fish that buried herself in the grass. Ten minutes later another large fish is hooked only to unbutton the rattletrap after a 30 yard run.

i struggled to enjoy the morning the next couple of hours. My back was killing me on every cast so by 9 o’clock I called it quits. Ended up with 15 fish or so with a several more chunky 3 pounders. Now time for my back massage.
