I fished from sun up to 10:30 am. The first fish came before I even launched the boat. I cast an underspin with a 3.5”  pro blue red Largo shad from the boat launch and a 3 pounder almost took my rod. I had a very good bass hooked on an unweighted worm that I lost when I reached to cut off the trolling motor. The largest fish (about 22”) was caught in the deeper water near the small island close to  the  trees. I have fished this lake a few times, but this was by far my best trip.
