Fished Friday 5/18 in the AM with a friend who is a non-member.  We were on the water by 6:30 and it was dead calm, threw topwaters without a single strike.  My friend switched to a spinner bait and picked up one and I picked up one on a baby brush hog.  We were fishing the West bank down past the island and my friend landed a 7.2lb fished that inhaled a watermelon - pumpkin seed baby brush hog.

We fished until noon, harvested 6 under 14” and caught another 12 over 14” with a couple of those over 3 lbs.  Most came on a brush hog.

By the way the boat was dry, it doesn’t leak, it must be rainwater that gets in it.
