Mike and I fished from noon to 6 pm.  Water temertature was 52 degrees when we started out and warmed up to 57 degrees.  Water clarity was a foot to a foot and a half.  Lake level down about 3’.  It was a tough afternoon.  We only caught the 1 crappie out in the deeper part of the lake, which is where we have always had a lot of success..  Nothing worked.  Finally late in the afternoon we went clear to the back of the lake which was challenging, given the water level.  We followed the creek channel and caught 5 back there on ¾ oz spinnerbaits in 1 1/2’ to 3’ of water, all around timber.  But it was a beautiful afternoon to be on the water. And we saw a lot of wildlife.  This is a great lake we have had a lot of success at in the past.  Will fish it again.
