Turned out to be a beautiful day in Ben Wheeler! Air temp at 7:30 was 41 and the water temp was 49. Wind was calm and steadily blew to around 20mph by day end but no matter, we started at the smaller lake and only caught 7 from 1.5 to 2 lbs, couldn't really get them to partake in anything we were throwing but that changed after relocating to the bigger lake where right away we patterned the fish hanging out in the center channel and they were hungry. We managed 70 bass in which two of them were almost back to back 5 pounders and looked like twins! Water clear to around 2 feet but still needs water. All other fish came in from 2 to 4 lbs and all looked super healthy and gave good battles. Fun and productive day! Much thanks to the landowner and PWF for all you do!
