Keeping my tradition of going out fishing on New Year, went out to Crossroad Ranch for few hours. On the water 12:30PM, air temp upper 30s and warmed up to mid 40s, light wind and clear sky, water temp was low 40s. Lake is at least 3ft down, you have to walk to the end of the point to launch the club boat and will need some kind of roller to move the boat if fishing alone. Bites were few and far between, found few in 6-7ft of water on lipless at the northeast side, but was surprised to find fish in 3ft of water around vegetation and laydown, chatterbait usually shines in these type of cover. Caught 7 upto 2.5lb, 6 over and 1 under the slot.
