Intermittent T-storms and distant lighting. Started at 1:30 with drizzle and wind then passing T-storms with lightning about 3-5 miles off. lake is full with weeds about 2-4 ft under surface. During showers, caught a few from the pier, then launched the boat but back to shore when lightning started.Took a couple of breaks during harder rain. That all passed then circled around the lake, about three times until dark. Had action everywhere but not along the dam. Most culls were 12-14 inches with a couple small ones. Rest were 2-3 lbs. Great afternoon with 100+ cows bellowing all afternoon. Most were caught along banks 5-20 yards out in 3-8 ft depth. 25 total….good solo day outing.
