Great day to be on the water for February. On water at daybreak. Air 36, water 50. I have a spot I have gotten 60% of my better fish from this lake. That is where I always start the day there. Well I got there and made the first cast- hit on the fall. It was a 5 pounder. 2^nd cast had a fish pick it up, didn't get a good hook set. That was it for the rest of the day. I was glad to be there though as weather was gorgeous. 
 

Noticed Craig the land owner added a lot of new brush- cedar and full tree trunks in the middle. 
 

Water 50 early (saw a 47 for a couple minutes then went back to 50), 54/55 late

water visibility was 6-7 feet, yes that clear. I have only seen this in deep winter at this lake

LOTS of slime algae. The phytoplankton gonna eat good.
