My son and I were on the water at 7:30. It was a windy overcast day. Temp. of water was 61, outside temp. got up to 83. Wind 10-15 and gusty. We caught around 15 bass, the two largest were both 4.6 lbs. My biggest hook up of the day was lost, it ran under the boat and came up on the other side and jumped about 2 feet in the air throwing the hook. We got a great look at her…somewhere arond 5 lbs. Many smaller fish were caught on a wacky worm, a few on T-Rig 10” Magnum Worm in green pumpkin. The two biggest fish were caught on a large glide bait! With the front coming in, the bite was agressive! All females were fat and full of eggs. Brush piles near shoreline were the best places, we tried deeper water a couple of times during the day but no luck offshore. With warmer weather coming, you can count on more 5-10 lb. fish being caught here!
