Had a great time fishing with my son for his annual birthday fishing trip. We have been doing this for the last 10 years and he turned 26 on the 12th. We started at the top lake and I caught a 2.5 pounder on the first cast with a buzz bait. After that it was my son with his frog having blowups and hookups giving his rod and reel a work out. He walked around the whole lake and then we went to the middle lake and dropped the boat in. Like previous reports, the wind was not our friend but we managed. Once again my son started with his frog catching and I was netting. This is where he caught the biggest fish a 5, 4.5 and a couple 4s. All the fish was healthy and had a strong fight to them. We caught fish all over the top 2 lakes and only caught a couple at the damn at the lower lake. Thanks to the owners and Private Water Team for the great experience and memories.
