We fished two full days and one half day at H&S. Overall it was a good trip. As many know the fishing can be tough at times here but the quality is usually there to make up for it. We caught a 7.2, 7.1, 6.5, and a hand full of 4 and 5 pounders. We have difficulty developing any real pattern outside of finding them shallow, like right on the bank, although we didn't see them spawning. Top water plugs, plastics, and spinners produced the majority. We stayed in the cabin for the second time and it is a great little spot! All in all, another enjoyable trip at Hat & Star.
