Fished a half day afternoon on Tues the 20th.  Spent about 3 hours at each.  Started on the West lake at noon.  Me and a buddy caught about 20 up to 4lb-9oz on just about anything we threw; frogs, lizards, wacky worms.  Then hit the East lake.  Doesn’t look as fishy but seemed like the better lake.  A lot of cover present but the key was all the underwater vegetation.  Pulled a frog over it and look out.  Probably caught 30 and better average quality.  Lost count of the 3-4 pounders.  Nothing huge unfortunately but we couldn’t have asked for a prettier day.  Beautiful site as well.  Use watermelon.
